For those who are not totally clued in on the cycling in Australia, it is one of the hardest contested forms of sport in our big country.
Darcy has won many a title at within Australia, one of which includes a victory over Robbie Mckewen.
He spent a few years contracted to a team in Italy but in recent years has been plagued by injury which has included shoulder and knee reco's.
He has thought a little of competing in Tri-Athlons and I know his athletic ability, it is one of a man who would well be a force in that field.
I wish him all the luck in the world for his future endeavours....
